Greetings from Singapore. Well, here's another Tie Interceptor. This one was
modeled in Imagine 2.0 a few years ago (before Lightwave had a modeler,
like, before LW 3.0) and converted with Pixel 3D.
To use, stick the model where you like. It'll look for the pictures in a
directory assignment called 'animpics:'. It also uses the
'fractalreflections' pic that comes with LW. Of course, I can't distribute
that one, but anyone that bought LW will have it in their /images directory.
If the model amuses you, send me mail! There are virtually no (legal) LW
users here in Singapore that I know about, sadly, although that'll change
with the PC version... No, actually, it will just mean something else for
the local pirates to feed on. I'm not bitter, honest.
Who am I? A teacher at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore, in the Film and
Video department. I teach video production, film production, some computer
animation and FX, mostly with Softimage and Eddie, but also Prisms
(very cool programme), and when it gets on the SGIs, Lightwave. I've had LW
since 1.0, but hated it until 3.0, when it became a most amazing piece of
software. I also love my Amiga, but am reluctantly looking at other
platforms, now that it's pretty much dead. I hate Microsoft and anything
associated with it.

Oh, there's pretty much no point in my copyrighting this, since Lucasfilm
holds the copyrights on the design, and my telling you I'll be annoyed if
you use it for commercial work is peanuts compared to the almighty wrath of
the LucasLawyers. So use it wherever you like. Just don't say it's yours.
